Join us as we learn how to create home-store quality serving platters and plates. Students will learn how to roll and compress slabs, use pottery forms, and add texture and surface design to make one-of-a-kind pieces. Stoneware glazes will then be selected by students and all pieces will be fired in the studio’s kiln.
Students will be able to make 1 large platter or plate, 1 medium size platter or plate, and a smaller plate or bowl.
Pieces will be food and dishwasher safe after final firing.
All materials included.
Must be 18 years or older to register.
