Learn the basics of American Mahjong in this fun and beginner-friendly two-part class! Students will be introduced to the rules and gameplay of American Mahjong using the official card from the National Mahjong League.
Over two sessions, participants will learn tile identification, game setup, strategies, and hands while building confidence through guided play. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills!
Price of class includes individual NML card that students will get to keep.

This three-part beginner sewing series is perfect for those ready to build skills through hands-on projects. Students will build confidence with their machines while completing practical, take-home projects.

Class One: Introduction to sewing basics and machine. We will learn to sew in a line following a set seam allowance, how to cut fabrics, and basic assembly skills. May complete a small project if time allows.
Class Two: Learn zipper techniques and construct a functional zipper pouch
Class Three: Follow a pattern to sew a custom apron, building confidence in pattern reading and garment construction
By the end of the series, participants will have developed a strong foundation in sewing, cutting materials and using a pattern.
All materials included. However, students are welcome to purchase their own fabrics if they do not want to use the studio’s. Fabric requirements for the three classes will be sent out in an email.

This class will include a refresher on watercolor techniques but will include more in depth lessons in washes, masking, dry brush and color theory. You can expect to complete one watercolor piece and several studies. Flowers and landscapes will be our themes.
This class is ideal for beginners with some watercolor experience looking to build upon the basics and intermediate artists looking to deepen their practice.
Taught by local artist and teacher Lisa Guyton.
Materials included, however, students can also purchase their own supplies if they want to practice between classes, or continue working at the end of the course.

Create a beautiful floral stained glass (interior use) mosaic in this two part class series. Student will learn how to cut, assemble, grout, and paint their very own glass creations.
