Studio Membership Agreement & Policies
Welcome to our creative community! We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment for all members. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, the following policies apply to all studio members.
1. Membership & Access
Membership is billed on a monthly basis and provides access to studio facilities during posted hours.
Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Access is limited to members in good standing (current on payments and compliant with policies).
The Studio reserves the right to modify hours, equipment availability, classes, pricing, or policies at its discretion.
2. Payments, Renewals & Cancellations
Membership dues are automatically billed each month on the enrollment date unless otherwise stated.
Failed or late payments may result in suspension of studio access.
Cancellation requires written notice at least 3 days prior to the next billing cycle.
Membership fees are non-refundable, including partial months or unused time.
3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Members understand that participation in art and craft activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, slips, exposure to art materials, tool-related injuries, and other unforeseen hazards.
Members voluntarily assume all risks associated with studio use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, members release and hold harmless the Studio, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liability, damages, or expenses arising from participation or use of the facility.
Members agree they are physically and medically capable of participating in studio activities.
4. Safety & Equipment Use
Members must follow all posted safety guidelines and verbal instructions.
Certain tools and equipment may require prior orientation or approval before use.
Appropriate attire must be worn (e.g., closed-toe shoes, secured hair, protective gear when required).
Members agree to use all tools and materials responsibly and only for their intended purposes.
Any injury, damage, or unsafe condition must be reported immediately.
5. Care of Studio & Property
Members are responsible for cleaning their workspace and returning shared tools in proper condition.
Members are financially responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety procedures.
The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Unclaimed projects or materials left beyond ___ days may be discarded or removed at the Studio’s discretion.
6. Conduct & Community Standards
We are proud to foster a welcoming creative space. Members agree to:
Treat others with respect and professionalism.
Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior.
Follow all Studio rules and staff directions.
The Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, without refund, for violations of these policies or behavior deemed unsafe or harmful to the community.
The Studio reserves the right to update these policies as needed. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of any revised policies.
